I've been busy, take a look. I made my bodies and decided to use a face painting technique from a pattern I've been hanging on to by Sue Sizemore. I would love to take a class with her.

I found the perfect boot at a Las Vegas thrift store. 

Trying something new. I was ask to do a Witch. I don't like witches. So the best I can do is Steampunk with a twist.

After a wonderful job with the Fashion Show. I gave my students the last few weeks to relax and make Dolls

Not enough TIME!

WOW! Time  goes by so fast. I've been so busy with our annual  Fashion  Show at the high school, I had no time to do my weekly up date. But I'm back so let's try this again. My goal is to keep you up dated on what I'm working on.
So spring break i spent a Week in Las Vegas making doll patterns, And going to thrift store finding odds things to add to my dolls. Barbara Phox, artist of Dolls in a Phox hole took a flight in from Texas and shared the hunt   Ooh boy did we have a wonderful time. When I say we know where every thrift store in Las Vegas is at. WE KNOW!
Well now I need to finish a few more projects and post them. Then off to my website and Esty. Until next time. Blessings.

Missing making dolls

I haven't posted in weeks. So busy. It's that time of year again. Santee High Fashion Show and my students have me busy. I haven't had time for making my dolls. It's all good because after the Fashion Show I teach my students doll making and they love it.

Homework

My niece had to make a Mutant Doll for her Science Class and she ask for my help. I looked at her drawing and said WOW! What subject is this project for? Four legs, two heads, three arms with three fingers on each hand. All I could think is she better be so ugly she's cute. LOL.

1st coat

Had a few hours in my studio today and I enjoy that time working on my Kinfolks line. I'm just waiting for them to start telling me who they are? My Uncle Rudy, my cousin Tilly boo, Boney, or Nunie. Maybe my Aunt Mary, we call her "I do, I do" because she's been married so many times. Some people collect Dolls, coins, stamps, she collect wedding rings. LOL. No matter the whole family will come out in this line 2013. Just wait to you meet Ma'Dea, that's my grandmother on my father side.

Valley of the dolls

Had fun at our Doll Club meeting. The girls and I made sculpture Doll heads. What a wonderful way to start the new year with ladies that have the same interest as you. It's going to be a creative year.
